Zero represents the world, and the integer one stands for God; without ‘One’ the ‘Zero’ has no value. That is, without ‘God’, the real ‘One’, the world, ‘0’, is meaningless. (GICS, p. 122)
A Zero will get its value only if it is placed after an integer, so also a jiva will get some value only if it is placed in conjunction with divinity. This is the simple truth, what other truth can I convey to you. (SSB 1977, p. 143)
You should have muscles of iron and nerves of steel. Then your resolution will itself generate the necessary confidence; and that will win over opposition. For the crop of life, courage and confidence are the best manure; they are also the best insecticides. Be like lions in the spiritual field, rule over the forest of the senses and roam fearlessly with full faith in victory. Be heroes, not zeros; for Manava (man) is of the nature of Madhava (God); he is the imperishable eternal Atma! (SSS Vol.1, p. 75)
