If man lives properly as a human being, it will be occasionally possible for him to turn towards the divine but if man does not live as man, it will not be possible for him to even occasionally think of the divine. Only when man makes an attempt to know who he is can he understand the divine. Only then is there a chance for him to enter the atma and enjoy bliss and happiness. (SSB 1974, p.134)
