Source

The created water vapour, clouds, rain, and the river, all go and merge in the original basis of itself, namely, the ocean. The statement ‘Nadinam Sagaro Gatih’ means that all rivers go and merge with the ocean, and in the same manner all the created things and all the streams of life go and merge with the source, namely, Brahman. That is to recognise that Brahman is in the place Pratishthati and that Brahman is the basis of all creation. We must understand and recognise that all aspects of our life have Brahman as the source. Truth alone establishes the basis of everything. That is why in Rig Veda it is said ‘Tasmat Paramam Vadanti’. (SSB 1974,  p. 70)

Prahlada was a Rakshasa, but Prema liberated him nevertheless; Jatayu was a bird; Dhruva but a child; the cowherds of Brindavan were unlettered folk; yet, through alchemy, they all shone in the splendour of Prema and knew the Source. (SSS Vol.2, p. 6)

Questions may be asked, and doubts expressed by many about the state of a person after he has attained fulfilment, the fullness of awareness, His life will be saturated in unexcelled ananda, and he will experience one-ness of thought, emotion and knowledge with all. He will be in ecstasy, immersed in the One and Only, the Eternal Divine Principle for, that alone can confer joy during the process of living. Genuine joy is this and no other. God is the embodiment of eternal, ever-full joy. Those loyal to Bharatiya culture, whatever the sect or faith which they claim as their special mould, accept this axiom, that ‘God is the highest source of joy’. This matha (conclusion) they accept as abhimata (dearest and most pleasurable). (BPV, p. 8)

The source of all spiritual principles recognised and revered by Bharatiyas is God; He is the one supporting pillar. Therefore, no other support is needed for faith. Bharatiya spiritualism is the very foundation of all other faiths; it stands on the very summit. It has achieved victory over many opposing faiths, confronting them with many valid arguments and theories. Bharatiyas have no need to follow any religion or spiritual discipline, besides their own. For, nowhere else can you secure a discipline or truth that is not existing herein. Other faiths have only adopted some of its beliefs and principles and placed them before people as ideals to be adopted.

Bharatiya (Arya) texts on spiritualism are the most ancient in the whole world; they are the earliest studies and discoveries. (BPV, p. 14)

The body is the camera, the mind is the lens, the heart is the photographic plate, the thought is the flash, and the intelligence, the switch. Turn the lens towards the source of happiness, not to the seat of anxiety and fear, then you will be rewarded with a fine picture on your heart. (SSS Vol.8, p. 165)

Man is created by God, each with his distinct nature, quality, potential and destiny. How then, can anyone compare himself with another, either exult or despair? – Everyone has God as the source. No one is higher or lower. (NNSG Vol.2, p.89)

The source from which all authority and all power originates is Sarveshvara. Ignoring that omnipotence, deluding one-self that the little power one has acquired in one’s own, this indeed is selfishness, conceit, pride, Ahamkara.

If a person is genuine vehicle of power, he can be recognized by the characteristics of truth, kindness, love, patience, forbearance and gratefulness. Wherever these reside Ahamkara cannot subsist, it has no place. Seek, therefore, to develop these. (Prema Vahini, p.14)
