Man to day is selfish. I sometimes say better to be a fish than selfish. A fish cleans the water in which it lives, while man dirties everything around him. Man does not do anything for others and society. He is selfish. Only when you give up selfishness can you have self-knowledge or self-realisation. (DG, p. 32)
