Dedicate every action to the Lord and there will be no place for ego. That is the quickest way for the ego to subside. (CWBSSB, p. 123)

Recognising the immanence of the Divine, one has to dedicate all acts to the Divine. (SSS Vol.7, p. 111)

Dedicate all worship, all adoration, all Vedic rituals and other vows and vigils with all the fruits that may accrue, to Me. Take Me as the ultimate Goal, as the Final Aim which transforms all acts into worship; fix your mind on Me, meditate on Me; I shall then shower My Grace and take you across the ocean of change, of samsara: I shall favour you with the Goal you seek. (GV, p. 197)

You should not worship the Lord as an emergency measure. Dedication inspires the body, the mind and speech. If what you speak is not approved by the mind, if what is felt in the mind is not wholeheartedly put into action, then it becomes sheer hypocrisy. Be convinced that the doer and the deed and the doing are all He; be devoted to Him, rather than to riches, wife and children. (GV, p. 200)

Dedication is different from service; in service, there is the element of ego. ‘I serve, He is the master, He requires my service, I am necessary for Him’. But, in dedication, the I is wiped out. (SSS Vol.4, p. 159)

Prompted by the urge to advance the progress of others, when a person dedicates his wealth, skill, and intelligence, his position and status, he becomes truly great. Such a one is the puposeful seer for the world. He fulfills unfailingly the vow of selfless service. He who is conscious of his basic duties and obligations, and spends his days in carrying them out in practice will be in supreme peace, wherever he may be Through his influence, his neighborhood too, will share that peace.  (V Vahini, p. 36)
