What is Brahmacharya? All those who are not married cannot be called Brahmacharis. Only those who rejoice in the bliss of Brahma or God can be called Brahmacharis. Hanuman was one such Brahmachari. Kamini and Kanchana are two obstacles in the path of Tyaga Jivas . You should not relish the company of women. Our scriptures declare that a Brahmachari can have intimate relation with only mother among women. Woman is like fire and man is like butter. Therefore men should be careful in dealing with women and similarly, women should be careful with men. Sense control is most important on the spiritual path. Sense control is not repression of senses; it is utilising senses for righteous activity with a sense of surrender to God. It is natural that you get wrong feelings when you are in the world but you should not translate wrong feelings into actions. (SSSDK, pp. 297-298)
