The Lord, when His Truth is grasped, confers Bliss which is auspiciousness itself. (SSS Vol.1, p. 90)

There is no Sathyam (Truth), without Shivam (Goodness); there is no Shivam, without Sundaram (Beauty). Truth alone can confer Mangalam (Auspiciousness) and Mangalam alone is the real beauty. (SSS Vol.3, p. 49)

‘Shiva’ means auspiciousness. So, Shivarathri speaks of an auspicousness which is inherent in darkness. (SSS Vol.18, p. 15)
