What is permanent? Only two things: Dharma (Righteousness) and Kirti (Fame). As the scriptures have declared: Yat drishyam tat nashyam. Whatever is visible is perishable. The entire manifested universe will be washed away by the river of time. The eye that sees and the world that is seen - both are short-lived. (ICS , p. 146)

The only permanent thing of real value that you can attain through your life here on earth is the love of God. This divine love is extra-ordinary; no price can ever be set upon it. It is a treasure that is valuable beyond all measure. (DBG, p. 13)

The permanent element is understood through the impermanent one. Therefore, though the divinity is formless; you have to associate it with a particular form to understand it. (DBG, p. 16)
