Education that does not faster virtues leads to blindness (spiritual). Can afford to blind? No! Without virtues and grace of God, you cannot really achieve anything. Karna was rich, strong, and powerful, but he distanced himself from Dharma and Krishna. What is the use of wealth and skills if you do not have the grace of God? This mighty Karna, who had many good qualities, did not submit himself to god. He refused to obey to the command of Krishna. If you fail to serve God, all the intelligence you might possess is of little value. In fact, the intelligence then gets misused. Since Karna spurned Krishna, he eventually fell in battle despite his intellectual acumen and physical prowess. One must always strive to earn the protection of Dharma and the grace of God. You become strong only when you harmonise your activities with Divinity. When the goal and God go together, the victory is assured. (SS Oct 01 , p. 313)
